Tourism Plus Shanghai

Tourism Plus Shanghai (TPS) is a global cutting-edge expo cluster of the comprehensive tourism industry. It is held in Shanghai to improve tourism destinations, promote investment and cooperation in tourism-related industries and thus empower the whole industry chain. As an exhibition cluster, TPS is an agglomeration of the following sections: tourism resource development & investment; hotels, commercial property & other tourist facilities; catering equipment & food; modes of transportation and outdoor activities; and international events & important forums. It has been included in the Shanghai High-quality Tourism Project of the “14th Five-Year” Plan to help Shanghai become the tourism investment gateway in Asia.

From March 29th to April 1st, the 31th Shanghai International Restaurant & Catering Show (Hotelex Shanghai) was successfully held in National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). There were 2875 exhibitors from 116 countries and regions around the world and 46 forums, competitions and events were held. Exhibition categories include food products in general, catering materials, baking equipment and raw materials, ice cream equipment and materials, beverage synthesis, coffee and tea, kitchen equipment and supplies, table products, wine products in general, food and catering packaging, catering design and supporting, franchise and catering investment, etc.

The 2021 Hotel & Shop Plus Exhibition (Hotelplus Shanghai), which focuses on hotel and commercial space, was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (Pudong) from March 30 to April 2. Covering more than 200,000 square meters, the event brought together 2,100 exhibitors, and over 80 forums and other activities were launched. It presented a one-stop procurement platform for professionals engaged in hospitality industry to get the latest in construction and operation, products, services and solutions.

The 25th China Shanghai International Boat Show & Shanghai Lifestyle Show 2021 featured nearly 600 exhibitors in categories including: boating, boat equipment and accessories, clubs and services, aquatic sports, Lure Fishing, folk tourism, RV camping, outdoor sports, recreation facilities, etc.

Covering a wide range of fields such as tourism destination investment, development and promotion, thematic project planning and operation, innovative project introduction, smart upgrading, IP building and licensing, the exposition aims to provide integrated solutions ( innovation – planning – investment – development – investment promotion – operation – presentation ) for tourism destination upgrading and build a platform for tourism resource element transaction.

Create A Big Platform to Empower the Whole Industry

The 1st Tourism Plus Theme Exhibition, Shanghai International Boat Show & Shanghai Lifestyle Show 2021, which lasted for 3 days, came to a successful conclusion on April 3, 2021 at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center with the area of 44,000 sqm. Nearly 800 exhibitors and more than 37,000 visitors gathered in Pudong, Shanghai.

The exhibition attracted people from all walks of life in the industry chain, including tourism scenic spots, tourism investment and management companies, hotel investment and management groups, chain restaurant brands, yacht clubs, architectural design companies, real estate developers, cultural and tourism product buyers, travel agencies, etc.

Tourism Plus Shanghai is guided by the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism and held by Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets International Exhibition Co., Ltd. which is the first joint venture exhibition company in China founded by Informa PLC- World’s Largest Events & Exhibitions Organisers and Shanghai Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co., Ltd in 1998. The total area of our trade shows covered 1,500,000 sq.m in 2019, which provided countless trade opportunities for millions of buyers coming from all over the world. The Online Marketplaces include 8 B2B portal websites, 2 B2P sourcing miniprograms,4 information related Mini Program platforms and 2 APPs. Sinoexpo Informa Markets is Headquartered in Shanghai and consists of two wholly-owned subsidiaries – BoYing Electronic Commerce and CIE. Besides, it operates two branches in Beijing and Guangzhou and two joint venture exhibition companies include: Guzhen Lighting Expo and Guangzhou Bohong. The total headcount has exceeded 470.
